- Complete healing for all 4 boys.
- Pray for Luke as he goes back up to Great Ormond Street Hospital to
undertake a second bone marrow transplant. He is due to go up to London on
the 12th November with the actual transplant date being the 21st November.
Please pray that he remains well during his transplant – and that he stays
infection free. Please pray also for that his liver and kidneys are not
affected by the chemotherapy.
- Pray for Luke’s new wonderful mystery donor that he/she will remain well
through the giving of their stem cells.
- For Joshua, Nathan and Daniel now that they have gone through their bone
marrow transplants and have a cure. Pray that they will remain well as their
immune system relearns and catches up. Give thanks that:-
- They are back at school and having a great time
- They have finished getting all their childhood immunizations up to
date.
- That their EBV levels are now under control – all 3 have had the virus
with no ill effects!
- Joshua is now in what we hope his last fight against the impact of Graft
vs. Host Disease. We have seen some improvements in his mobility this year
as he has gradually recovered from scleroderma (hard skin). Pray for this
continue, for his hair to grow back and for him to remain totally GVHD free.
- For David & Allison – for strength and boldness to continue on
through this hard valley
- For more bone marrow donors to come forward – there are still some 7,000
people globally awaiting a suitable donor and many e-friends waiting for
that call.
- For the charity (www.xlpresearchtrust.org) to be a success so that no
other family needs go through the Valley
